NFL Player Prop Trend: Mike Evans Over 49.5 Receiving Yards
Since Mike Evans returned from his hamstring injury, the Buccaneers have rolled to a 4-1 record, and Evans has been lights-out, logging at least 68 receiving yards in each of those five games. He’s hit the over every time, averaging 96.6 yards during that span and delivering two top-four wideout finishes (though he did fall outside the top 25 in the other three). The last time he faced the Panthers, he torched them for 118 yards, which fits right into his monster average of 134 yards over his last five matchups against Carolina. The books have him around 5.5 receptions, but even at just 4 catches this season, he’s averaging 87.5 yards and has smashed the over in 8 of 8 games—and an impressive 18 of 20 going back further. With all this momentum, you might want to keep an eye on Evans when placing your bets!
NFL Player Prop Trend: Baker Mayfield Over 224.5 Pass Yards
Baker Mayfield has been on a tear, finishing as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in three straight outings (and four of his last five) while averaging a sizzling 283 yards per game during that span—hitting the over at a 100% rate. Even over his last 10 contests, he’s smashing that yardage prop at an 80% clip with a 275-yard average. This week he squares off against the Panthers, who rank 30th in pass DVOA and surrender the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs. Add to that Mayfield’s third-place ranking in touchdown passes and fourth place in passing yards on the season, and you’ve got a recipe for a feast. Sportsbooks have him pegged at 29.5 to 31.5 pass attempts; the sweet spot is 30 or more at home, where he’s averaging 300 yards per game. Time to ride the Baker train.
NFL Player Prop Trend: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Moneyline
The Bucs head into this matchup pumped up, knowing they must keep pace with the Falcons, who face a tricky showdown against the Commanders. Tampa Bay might have lost to Dallas last week, but don’t let that fool you—this team has been on fire, sitting fifth in the league in scoring and showing dominance on both sides of the ball. Expect them to shred Carolina’s shaky run defense yet again, especially with Bucky Irving, who lit up the Panthers for 150 yards in their last meeting. The Panthers have shown some scrappiness but remain a dismal 1-5 on the road, and with their league-worst defense in points allowed, the odds heavily favor the Bucs to pull away in the second half.
